How do I regrade essays?
Step 1:Â Click on the ellipsis inline with the essay you want to regrade. Then click Re-grade.

Step 2: A modal will appear where you can change the rubric and grading intensity, but the default values will be what was previously selected.
Note:Â Currently, the easy, normal, and strict grading intensities change the tone and vocabulary used in the feedback. It does not affect the scores given.
- Easy is designed to give more encouraging feedback that is easier to read feedback for elementary students.
- Normal is geared towards feedback for middle school.
- Strict is for a high school/college audience.
Then click Re-grade.

Step 3:Â You will see the feedback that the essay is successfully queued to be regraded.

Step 4:Â Once the grading process has been complete, the status will be updated to Ready for review. You will be able to see the previously graded essay with the day it was graded on, and the re-grades essay with today's date.
