This release is really about one section. Metrics has been rebuilt from scratch as Metrics v4, starting with a new overview screen that pulls your whole account into one view.
📊 A brandnew Metrics overview
Everything you were tracking across separate screens now opens on one page.
The numbers at the top
Total classes, total assignments, total students, and total time saved sit across the top of the overview. If you have ever tried to work out how much of your term went into grading, that last number answers it.
Scores and AI detection over time
Two charts track your average score and your average AI detection score month by month. Watching them side by side tells you more than either one alone, particularly in the weeks around a big assignment.
Drill down by class
Below the charts you can open up any individual class and compare performance across them. Classes are grouped by where they came from, so you can look at EssayGrader, Google Classroom, Canvas and Schoology separately or all together, and search by name when the list gets long.
🔧 Also in this release
- Grading: flexible scoring labels display correctly again.
- Accounts: removing an account now unsubscribes it from emails properly.
The rest of 4.10 went into performance, stability, and security work behind the scenes.
More of Metrics v4 is on the way. This release lays the foundation, and the student-level detail follows shortly.
